Case Study

Urban Tactics was founded by Derick and Michelle Coultas to help others protect themselves. After surviving a violent attack in 2007, Derick developed Street Survival—a real-world defense system built on instinctive movements and proven tactics.

Since 2017, Urban Tactics has trained individuals of all backgrounds, including law enforcement, survivors of violence, and the disabled community. Their mission: deliver practical, life-saving skills through a supportive, empowering environment.

They came to me in need of a complete brand overhaul, including a new website, visual identity, print materials, and social media presence. The goal was to create a cohesive, professional brand that reflected their mission, values, and unique training philosophy—while ensuring consistency across every touchpoint, from digital platforms to real-world applications.
